Joining us for this review is a special guest from Florida State University – Andrew Mannheimer. He did his take on Doc 2.5 the same day we did Doc 2. We came back together on a later date to shoot the crews take on it. In this reveiw, we share our thoughts on the project along with how well it measures up to the first disc and which one we like the best.

  • 2.5 is muuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccchhhhhhhh better than 2. More Westcoast. No trap-boolshit. Just fucking amazing.
But…. the beginning of the second beat in this video. Doesn't the sound remind y'all of the game Bully when your mowin the lawn and shit.

  • The only bad thing about this review is that they're not talking about the verses and who they think killed which verse like on some other album reviews it was just a brush over the tracks.

  • Esham also released a double album with two separate releases in 1992 with Judgement Day Vol 1 and 2. Also the first hip-hop double album to be released in CD format, but he never gets any credit for that.

  • 2.5 was better than 2. Should've been packaged together. Jay Rock's Follow me Home (2011) was better than 90059. I'm a big Jay Rock fan too.

  • How are you not going to listen to all the tracks unless you don't like Game or something. Crazy. I say it's a Classic. It just gives me a feeling of College Dropout. My FLAG was that SHIT!

  • Documentary 2 had more of an old school vibe by the samples and featured artist that were used. Documentary 2.5 was more of our new school west coast rap sound. Still solid projects that will eventually be classics imo
