  • Enjoyed the video but I have to say I have been using these for a year now and I have no idea how or why your audio sounds like that. These became my main mics for weddings and interviews because they come out really good. However after watching your video and use of the mic I just don’t know if this was on purpose to make it sound like that or if you did not set the microphone up first? Just curious however again good video.

  • Have you ever compared the Olympus vp-10 to the Sony

  • Hi Chris, great vid! What settings would you recommend for this mic for wedding speeches, assuming it is in top pocket. Thanks, Joe

  • Anyone tried to record loud rock concerts with it? Is it suitable for that?

  • I actually got one of these after your previous review!

I use it as a gimbal mic when I need room ambience (and not just the noise of the motors) and as a back-up lecturn mic in case the feed from the sound board ever goes down on a presentation.

An extremely handy tool to always keep in the bag!

  • I find the audio really overly compressed and its no where near as good audio quality as the DR10L but its a handy recorder when a lav mic isn't an option

  • Not bad. The best part would be how long it takes to set up and the fact that it's not as bulky as the Rode Wireless Go. The sound is not as good as I would like, but it sure beats trying to salvage sound from an on camera mic.
