Will I need an headphone amp for this headphones cuz they're 63 ohms and are they good for mixing/music producing
Im owning a pair of DT 770 Pros (80 Ohms) , and im listening to a lot of progressive metal like Meshuggah and a lot of deathmetal, Minimal Techno and Rap, HipHop. While im using the dt 770 pros with 80 ohm I'm feeling that they get a little bit sloppy around the mids and especially the highs, the bass is great tho. Do you think i will hear a minor difference with the 7506 in the overall quality? Im mostly listening to music on my pc and i was thinking about getting the Sony MDR 7506 in combination with the Creative Soundblaster X G6 external soundcard.
Your suggestions? Right now im just using the DT770Pro 80 Ohms with my standard Mainboard (asus ddr4 generation)….
HI there, asking after almost 6 years, how does this compare to M40x? btw, I got the M40x thanks to you over the M50x, not a base fan 🙂
How it is with bass?

Been in the broadcast industry for over 25 years and the 7506's have always been in a studio near by. My MDR V600's finally gave out on me after many years of faithful service and I went to the 7506. Light, comfortable, clear definition throughout the range – it's everything you want or need for on-air or production work. There is a reason these have survived so long – you don't mess with an industry standard. Great review!
i found it very interesting

My ears hurts wearing this better go for technica
I’ve heard these are one of the best headphones Sony has made, is that true?
Does the MDR-7506 handle jazz music well?
ath m40x is the flattest
how do you think these will do with the Mix pre 3
I really like these headphones. I use them for both general listening as well as music production. They are very durable. Dog chewed up the ear pads a few times – no problem, replacing the pads is a snap. But how this coiled cable gets tangled up so much is one of the great mysteries in physics!
I have used these since 1990, they sounds pure and cleaner than almost all other headphones for professional crucial recording engineers in the studio, both pre and post production.

Hello! This is an old video, so I hope you'll be reading this soon and be able to answer my question. See, I just hope someone can tell me wheather or not the Sony MDR 7510 is better than the MDR 7506. Any idea?
I'm trying to build up an affordable beginners studio. Just looking for the cheapest options for something good enough. 🙂
Which select for audio editing. Audio technical 50x or sony mdr 7506 ??? Please.
