Part 2: The Cover Project and Universal Game Cases: Retro NES SNES N64 GBA Genesis Games

In this update video I demonstrate the storage system I use for many of my NES games: Universal Game Cases UGC and printed box art covers from I show how to print them from PowerPoint, and modify the game cases for NES games using a multi tool. I also address using DS Cases for GBA games and the problem with doing this if you live outside the states. If you know of any websites abroad, let me know and I’ll add them to the description! I hope it helps!

  • Hahahaaaa foolish mortals! I buy crappy master system and megadrive sports games from game shops for about 50p to £1 then gut the insides and print my own covers. These fit n64 nes and snes carts and the obvious megadrive carts. Shipping and high prices be damned.

  • I had a friend hand me a universal game case he didn’t need since he had a spare he didn’t need, so I used it for an n64 game I have and when I put the game in it just keeps falling out and doesn’t clip in also nes and snes games just don’t fit at all like period, and there’s no way to hold in genesis cartridges

  • It was stated that the best way to download and print is to have them all in a PowerPoint presentation, is there an existing PowerPoint file available that already has all of these on one file so I do not have to individually download, transfer and save all of my game covers as my current collection contains a few hundred games

  • Great job making an amazing video. You aren’t like those lame people that have a terrible presentation voice, who are monotone, their camera shakes or is blurry constantly, are redundant, can’t look into the camera (except at themselves in the screen), and best of all you get to the point without wasting anybody’s time. Well done man.

  • Consistent, protected, neat, vibrant, presentable and colourful. What do you mean 'Naked?'

If you enjoy collecting games, then making custom cases should be just a labor of love. Also, you are already saving a lot of money not buying the original box.
